How much does it cost?
The Garden is FREE! to access all year round
Many of our events are also free entry, although some activities may have a small charge to cover costs of materials.
The Garden is led and run by a group of unpaid volunteers. Every year running costs are increasing and so donations are essential to us continuing to provide access to the Garden and activities, all donations are very much appreciated.

Is there parking available?
When the car park gate is open, you can park in the car park and no one will shut the gate until you have left. If you arrive and the gate is shut, then you can park your car in the space between the gate and the A71, so long as you leave access to the gate.
If you come and the car park is full, there is parking at the old DAKS building across the road and there is a pedestrian crossing over the A71. Just off the new West Calder High School road there is a safe footpath to the Community Garden away from the A71.

WHEN IS THE STICK man TRAIL and FAIRY VILLAGE OPEN?
The Stick Man and Fairy Village trails are self led and accessible 7 days a week.
There is no need to book. For Stick Man there is an activity sheet/map that can be downloaded. WE are employing a one way system due to Covid 19, this means that the Stick Man trail will be run in non numerical order, this doesn't detract from the experience.
The walks and trails are always open, however the car park and building are only open when volunteers are around.
If the car park gate isn't open when you visit, there is some room for cars outside, so long as you park nearer the road leaving access to the gate.
